Question 1

What does Turner Family Portraits do?

Accepted Answer

We're a cinematic event-media company — photography, video, livestreaming, lighting, and guest experiences — engineered end to end for weddings, social celebrations, corporate productions, and schools across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Question 2

What areas do you serve?

Accepted Answer

New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, based in NYC and Baldwin, Long Island. For events beyond the region, reach out and we'll talk travel.

Question 3

What kinds of events do you cover?

Accepted Answer

Weddings, sweet 16s, mitzvahs, quinceañeras, milestone birthdays, galas, reunions, grand openings, cultural celebrations, corporate events and conferences, and school events — proms, graduations, and fundraisers.

Question 4

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Every event is different, so we build a custom quote around your goals, coverage, and format rather than a one-size price. Send a Quick Quote or request a consultation and we'll come back with a clear plan and transparent investment.

Question 5

How do I book, and what's the process?

Accepted Answer

It's a five-step flow — Connect, Design, Engineer, Capture, Deliver. You reach out, we design the plan and lock the details, we produce your event, and your gallery is delivered. Start with a Quick Quote, Smart Quote AI, or a consultation.

Question 6

How far in advance should I book?

Accepted Answer

The sooner the better — especially for weddings and peak-season dates. Reach out early so we can confirm availability and tailor the plan; we'll always tell you honestly what's open.

Question 7

When and how do I get my photos?

Accepted Answer

Your images arrive in a private online gallery. Same-day or next-day previews are available for many events, with the full gallery delivered on a timeline we set with you up front.

Question 8

Can you livestream my event?

Accepted Answer

Yes — TFP LIVE is our broadcast-grade division: multi-camera livestreaming with professional lighting and audio, built on reliable VMIX and Blackmagic infrastructure so the stream never drops the moment that matters.

Question 9

Do you shoot video as well as photos?

Accepted Answer

Yes — highlight films, brand and commercial video, and full multi-camera production, alongside our photography. One team, one workflow.

Question 10

Do you offer photo booths?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the Infinity 360 slow-motion video booth, a classic photobooth, and on-site printing so guests leave with something physical.

Question 11

What makes TFP different from other photographers?

Accepted Answer

We treat every event as a media production, not a transaction — Venue Scouting Reports, engineered timelines, redundant capture, and single-vendor, multi-service execution. See our Why TFP page for the full picture.

Question 12

Are you insured?

Accepted Answer

Yes — fully insured with general liability, and we bring backup equipment to every shoot.

Question 13

What happens if equipment fails or files are lost?

Accepted Answer

We shoot with backup gear, protect every shoot with dual-server media backup, and include a one-year guaranteed backup of your media.

Question 14

Can I get photo, video, and DJ under one contract?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we coordinate photo, video, and AV under one workflow and one invoice, with DJ and MC services through our MixMasters360 partner.

Question 15

Do you cover schools, proms, and graduations?

Accepted Answer

Yes — our schools division runs through our long-standing Continental Studios partnership, with over a decade of student, family, and school-event experience.

Question 16

Do you handle corporate events, headshots, and conferences?

Accepted Answer

Yes — corporate coverage, executive headshots, product launches, and conference and multi-camera AV production, with same-day or next-day delivery for press cycles.

Question 17

What is a Venue Scouting Report (VSR / VSR+)?

Accepted Answer

A production-grade planning document — sun-path analysis, timelines, backup locations, and vendor coordination — so your event day runs on a plan instead of improvisation.

Question 18

Can guests find and download their own photos?

Accepted Answer

Yes — our galleries support AI face-search, so guests can find themselves quickly, plus easy downloading and sharing.

Question 19

Do you offer an AI photoshoot experience for events?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the TFP AI Photoshoot Studio turns a guest selfie into cinematic AI portraits, delivered to a private gallery during your event. Ask us about adding it.

Question 20

How do I get a quote or consultation?

Accepted Answer

Three easy ways: a Quick Quote, our Smart Quote AI event builder, or a one-on-one consultation. Tell us about your event and we'll respond within 24 hours.

Your Vision, Engineered Beautifully.
